EPIC FAM JAM WITNESSED INTERNET SUPERSTARS MEETING THOUSANDS OF SUPERFANS AT ONE BIG CELEBRATION
The day-long event saw over 50 social media influencers and 5000 fans come together at a mega concert and immersive meet-ups
The much talked-about Epic Fam Jam surpassed all expectations as it celebrated Internet’s biggest superstars and their superfans at a unique show. Held in Mumbai’s JioWorld Garden, the event offered a wide range of engagements and entertainment for fans over an entire day.
Exclusive Meet-ups in Superstar Camps
During the day, thousands of enthusiastic fans queued up for interactive meet-and-greets with their favourite TikTok and Instagram stars, such as Mr Faisu, Jannat Zubair, Awez Darbar, Siddharth Nigam and many more.
These exclusive meet-ups were held in the Super Fan Zone which housed five custom-designed ‘camps’ for the artists. Each of these camps were built as an extension of the artists’ personalities, offering them and their fans an immersive place to chill out with unique selfie spots. The Team07 camp (featuring Mr Faisu, Adnaan Shaikh, Hasnain Khan, Faiz Baloch and Saddu) had a super bike, a red carpet and a mini gym, while Jannat Zubair’s camp was a princess’s chamber — with dream-like floral walls and chandeliers.
Siddharth Nigam and Avneet Kaur’s Arabian Nights-inspired camp with Bedouin seating and vintage lamps was a big hit — the duo, dressed as Alladin and Jasmine, looked straight out of a fairytale.
Awez Darbar and Nagma Mirajkar’s camp was themed around disco, featuring a glitzy mini stage and shiny disco balls that were reminiscent of the Seventies dance era. Teentigada (Sameeksha Sud, Bhavin Bhanushali and Vishal Pandey) gave an excellent glimpse of their vibrant personalities: inspired by comic books and housing the famous trio bum seating from 3 Idiots.
In the Fan Zone of the festival, host Rohini Ramnathan invited some of India’s biggest TikTok stars and Instagram celebs on the main stage and chatted with them about their incredible journey to fame. These included dancer Nidhi Kumar, Simran Sehgal, Danish Khan, Aamir Arab and many more.
Just before the star-studded live concert commenced, a glamorous red carpet witnessed top social media influencers in attendance.
Live Concert That Went Viral
Epic Fam Jam gave thousands of fans an evening to remember with a star-studded live concert which featured over 50 artists presenting a range of thrilling performances. The show, hosted by the ever-popular Sahil Khattar, started with a banging performance by singer Suyyash Rai, followed by impeccable sets by singing sensation Shraddha Sharma, Ritu Agarwal, Stebin Ben, MTV Hustle finalist rapper Shloka and more. Eshan and Preeti showed off their inimitable moves while Sameer Mark, Simran Sehgal, Arhan Ansari and others wowed the crowds in their chat segments.
The incredibly choreographed acts featuring Teentigada, Awez-Nagma and Siddharth-Avneet left the crowds asking for more. Jannat Zubair stole everyone’s heart when she sang on stage for the first time ever, especially when she performed the love ballad “Main Tenu Samjhavan Ki ” in her melodious voice. Popular singer Gajendra Verma soon followed with a stupendous set that featured his chartbuster ‘Tera Ghata’ and ended it with his popular number ‘Emptiness’.
The Team 07 mega act featuring a smashing Bollywood dance medley was the highlight of the evening, with the five superstars performing in perfect sync. Mr Faisu and gang had the crowd eating out of their hand when the matched steps on the Dabangg medley. The evening culminated with a star-studded finale performance where all artists took the stage and danced for their fans, thanking them for all their love and support.
Immersive Engagements By Instagram, MTV, Rolling Stone India
Fans had a roaring time at the Instagram installations at Epic Fam Jam, which included a heart-themed slide, a see-saw and a beautiful swing. As part of their ongoing #BornOnInstagram program, the platform is inviting budding creators to make cool content that can get special benefits and promotions from Instagram.
The MTV Beats activation featuring two Bollywood characters in quirky costumes, Salman Khan from Dabanng and Sanjay Dutt from Munna Bhai MBBS, were a huge hit as they mingled with the crowds. Young fans also thronged at the Rolling Stone India installation to pose with the magazine cover.
The festival ground was filled with loads of selfie spots that offered attendees memorable photo opportunities. All in all, Epic Fam Jam delivered a truly epic experience to all.
