A well intended film showcasing the Plight of the immigrants mushrooming in so many countries and beyond the control of the said Government. Here in the case of #Dunki which means and defines the process and modus operandi of fleeing one’s country and migrating to foreign shores in hope of success which result in the most horrible situation they get into forms the premise of the film.
It may appear quite a predictable fare, but once in a while you do need to get exposed to some such stark reality of Life which you may be knowing through the news channels and other sources but seeing it chronicled on the big screen does give you goose bumps.
Rajkumar Hirani who is a Master of His Craft with all Sensitivity and good narrative skill tries to bring forth one such Chapter with great Flair and with Shah Rukh Khan leading from the front giving highly Energetic and Spirited performance complemented by Taapsee Pannu’s equally sincere enacting and the ensemble cast of #BomanIrani, #VikramKochar, #AnilGrover & #VickyKaushal Lending in their part of Emotions, Romance, Humour and loads of Drama add to the narrative making it an immersive experience, that promises to leave an indelible mark.
