Dr. Tripti Singh’s Solo show at Jehangir from 19-25 Dec
Dr. Tripti Singh has done Ph.D from Banasthali University, Rajasthan, in Indian digital art under supervision of Prof. Bhawani Shanker Sharma, currently, Chairman, Rajasthan Lalit Kala Academy. Resident of Kanpur, UP. she has worked as Project Scientist for IIT Kanpur for one year.
This will be first Digital Art or New Media show at Jehangir Art Gallery as Jehangir is getting digital now….
The exhibition is titled as Amoghvarsh ’12’, she has created some 50 artworks since last 3 years duration on the date 12/12/2012. But the approach is positive.
Her artworks shows lots of people around…People who are a part of crowd there is a feeling that they are not alone. There are so many people around. So that is what she has created through her works of art.
As Dr. Tripti puts it … ” Right now Digital is new medium and many art department don’t have computers in their labs. So I am trying to manage this gap and I want that students and teachers should come to see my works. Sir, it is very important for me to spread my views to the masses.
