Dr Farooq Abdullah hums along Maestro Somesh Mathur At Shuhul Taaph
Shuhul Taaph is an annual cultural extravaganza held by KECSS
Maestro Somesh Mathur is a renowned singer – composer – producer and his compositions include Indian Classical to Classic Rock and from Sufi and Ghazals. Present at the 5th annual extravaganza, which was held between 21st and 23rd February; Somesh performed on his latest album – Music Mehfil: Volume 1.
Somesh was ecstatic as Dr Farooq Abdullah hummed along with him ‘Aaj Jaane ki zid na karo’. Dr Farooq Abdullah was the chief guest for his Sufi and Ghazal concert on 23rd Feb’14. Captivating the audience with his scintillating performance, Somesh received much appreciation from Dr Farooq himself.
KECSS (Kashmir Education, Culture & Science Society) is a global organization promoting Kashmir Culture, language, arts, literature and science to encourage study and research in these fields. Their fifth annual extravaganza was held between 21st and 23rdFebruary. Maestro Somesh Mathur joined hands with KECSS for Shuhul Taaph. He also supports and promoted their cause to save the girl child at the event.
