Divya Khosla Kumar spotted at #DetectToDefeat event organised by Aur Dikhao for Breast Cancer Awareness
At an event in Mumbai, Divya Khosla Kumar along with some other prominent celebrities from different walks of life launched AurDikhao’s full-fledged campaign called #DetectToDefeat– more than 10 short videos featuring 16 women celebrities from different fields, to promote breast cancer awareness.
Apart from October being known for the famous Oktober fest in Europe, in India we wish to stand for something more significant. For the uninitiated, October is observed as ‘International Breast Cancer Awareness Month’.
Research says breast cancer is one of the fastest rising cancer types amongst women. More than half of the cases are detected in stage 3 or 4, thus inhibiting any chances for cure. Hence the only way for prevention is raising awareness through early detection, treatment and cure.
“Women all across the world face multiple health issues, mainly because there is not enough awareness for them. Amongst these issues, breast cancer is a raising concern which again lacks awareness. Since it is one of the most common forms of cancer amongst women, that’s why I decided to pledge my support towards this initiative and campaign” Divya Khosla Kumar said.
As part of Public Service Campaign, AurDikhao, a digital media channel in association with Dr Aneel Murarka and Manish Murarka – promoter’s of Ample Missiion Events Entertainment and more LLP have developed a full-fledged campaign called #DetectToDefeat
The campaign provides an opportunity to witness more than 10 short videos featuring 16 women celebrities from different fields. Each of these videos convey the message in a unique style. Here’s the video which Divya shot to support the cause:

Prior to that, an initiative towards anti-smoking, AurDikhao came up with ‘11 Minutes’ featuring Sunny Leone, AlokNath and Deepak Dobriyal (Link).
The film bagged an organic 4 million views in just 4 days and received appreciation from across the industry.
