Search for the Dancing Star begins on Talenthouse India
Mumbai, 6th April 2012 Ace Bollywood choreographer, Pony Verma who has made actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Hrithik Roshan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Kareena Kapoor dance to her tunes, is all set to find a young, talented choreographer to assist her. She has recently collaborated with Talenthouse India, to find the new dancing star, to help her in making the Bollywood glitterati dazzle and sizzle on the floor!
The selected winner will receive global exposure and have an opportunity to work at Pony Verma’s leading dance academy ‘ISPA’ as head-trainer. The winner will also get a chance to assist her in her future Bollywood projects. The best submission will be selected by Pony and her team.
Speaking on the initiative, Pony Verma said, “Globally many mega events are done through crowdsourcing. The well known hip hop band “The Black Eyed Peas” has interestingly used crowdsourcing to excite and hook the audience to their performance at Oprah’s 24th Season kickoff party in Chicago last year. My partnership with Talenthouse will help bridge the gap between Indian terrains with its capacity to reach out to the masses through the internet and crowdsourcing. It is a brilliant initiative which will help aspiring performers to showcase their creativity and get the much needed exposure and recognition.”

The submission deadline for this hunt is 3rd May, 2012. The voting for the entries will begin from 4th May 2012 to 17th May 2012 and the winner will be announced on 31st May 2012. She also has movies like Guzarish and The Dirty Picture to her credit. She has won the best choreographer award for “the Dirty Picture” in 2011 at the prestigious Zee Cine awards, The Global Indian Film &Television Honours Awards and the Lions Gate awards.
