New Delhi, May 23, 2012: TheInternational Indian Film Academy (IIFA) today announced designers SuneetVarma, Masaba and Varun Bahl’s special collections to be showcasedat the upcoming music-cum-fashion extravaganza ‘Grey Goose PresentsIIFA Rocks’ in Singapore.  The high-end event which is one of the keyinitiatives showcased at the Videocon IIFA Weekend will be held on June 8th,the second day of the IIFA Celebrations in Singapore this year. IIFA Rocksbrings to the ramp a night of glamour, glitz and entertainment – a comingtogether of the best in Indian fashion and music!

Grey Goose presents IIFA Rocks is amusic-cum-fashion fashion extravaganza held annually showcasing leading avantgarde Indian designers. Leading models from India and the host nation grace theramp alongside the musical talent from India. Film stars are show stoppers fortheir favorite designers. This year, IIFA Rocks! will showcase three talentedIndian designers – Masaba, Suneet Varma and Varun Bahl.

The original, “IIFA byMasaba”, is being showcased at IIFA Rocks! Created by the nouveaudesigner, it is a chic fusion wear line with strong Indian elements – thecolour palette and imagery of the collection is inspired by the IIFA logo andbrand world. Keeping the glamour quotient in mind, Masaba will unveil a specialcollection which has been conceptualised and inspired by the colors of IIFA.The designs would be avant garde drawing inspiration from the ‘Sun’.

Grey Goose presents IIFARocks, for the first time ever the event will be co-hosted by ChitrangadaSingh and Ayushman Khurana.

With Dibakar Banerjee’s ‘Shanghai’, producedby PVR Pictures, premiering at the IIFAs, the 13th Videocon IIFAWeekend will also see Bollywood’s upcoming action-flick ‘Maximum’ beingshowcased where world-media will get a look at the  first-glimpses of thepolice-drama. Directed by Kabeer Kaushik, the film stars actor NaseeruddinShah, Sonu Sood, Neha Dhupia and Hazel Keech in the lead roles.
