Debut Film Director Harish Sharma to Shoot One of the Best Footballers of the World
PRO-turned-film Director chosen to direct a calendar for 2013 & video with Best Football Player of the World 2011-12, Andres Iniesta of Spain on 19 December.
“Yes,”, says Harish Sharma, “after seeing some of my film’s scenes Rajbir Singh M.D, Delhi based company Aska Beverages Pvt Ltd has asked me to plan and direct their calendar which is a fascinating combination of sports, glamour and wine.
Harish Sharma’s debut film 2 Nights in Soul Valley is scheduled to release on 28th December. “For me it’s very hectic, but I will manage because it’s a once in a lifetime opportunity of shooting with Andres. Where fans of football die just to get a close look of him or even an autograph, I would get to spend 3\4 hours with him while shooting the calendar and the video”.
Andres Iniesta is a Spanish football player who plays as a central mid fielder for La Liga club FC Barcelona & the Spanish national team. In the 2010 FIFA World Cup, being a part of the victorious Spanish side, he scored the winning goal in the final against the Netherlands. He was named Man of The Match and was selected in the tournament’s All Star Team.
He was also the Man of the Match for two other World Cup games. Following Spain’s victory in the UEFA Euro 2012, Iniesta was selected by the UEFA panel as Player of the Tournament. He went on to win UEFA Best Player in Europe Award for the 2011–2012 season. He is the most prominent player of Spanish National Team.
“It took Andres 6 months to spare 3/4 hours for the shoot due to indispensable playing schedule, finally scheduling 19th December for the shoot, just two days back.”
I also have to select a model or actress to shoot the calendar with Andres. Apart from shooting with Andres, I will shoot the selected model solo to add the oomph factor to the calendar. The shoot will be done in Fuentealbilla winery and with Andres’ in Barcelona.
I’m in discussion with 4-5 actresses and I’m hopeful that finalizing will be done in a day or two.” said Harish Sharma.
