Claudia Ciesla hopes for the best for the Indian Olympic team

The zeal and enthusiasm for Olympics continues to be invigorating amongst audience. But the Olympic fever has now gripped the celebs as well.

Recently we spoke to the Sizzling German Model Claudia Ciesla who is excited for the Olympics and forwards her wishes to Indian Olympic hopefuls. Claudia may be a German but her heart and soul is purely that of an Indian. She says “I am a German by birth but I have earned my share of success from India for which I am grateful. India feels like a home to me.”

She adds, “Germany has its expectation high towards many of its players but I am more hopeful for India players. My instincts say, players like Abhinav Bindra, Saina Nehwal have great potentials to get us Gold. Our tennis players, boxers, hockey team are all so talented that all we have to do is cheer them up! Everybody is hoping for medals in track & field and it piques my curiosity as well and even I await to witness our triumph when we bag the first track & field medal.”

India and Germany are two tough contenders, she feels and hopes that both reach the Hockey semi-finals. “It will be good to see my countries shining in the Olympics this season! But I am extremely happy for India and will cheer for our players. Though I could not be present in London for the opening ceremony but I do plan to go and cheer our players, our winners!”

Claudia first came across Amitabh Bachchan during the show Bigg Boss and her excitement doubled to see Big B holding the Olympic torch. “He was hosting the Bigg Boss season in which I was a participant and though it was the first time I had met the Superstar I was extremely overwhelmed to have met such a persona. And then again to see such a great personality holding the torch for London Olympics 2012, nothing else would have been more pleasing to our eyes!”

This will be the best Olympics for India, she feels. “I have always been connected to sports and therefore Olympics. For this Olympics I want nothing more, but for India to win as much medals as we can! My best wishes with our sport stars.”v
