Mumbai Women’s International Film Festival organized by Oculus Creations from 8 th to 14th
October 2013 with the support of Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) will be showcasing more than 150 films from across 70 nations. The screening will be held at festival’s official venue partner HDIL’s Kulraj Broadway at Oshiwara, Bhandup and Borivali. Films will also be screened at festival’s satellite venue partner Fun Cinemas Andheri. The festival has extended its reach in its first edition itself by covering almost all areas of Mumbai and reaching out to the maximum film fanatics.
Top Bollywood celebrities attending and conducting the workshop during the festival are Nandita Das, Shibani Kashyap, Usha Khanna, Sumitra Bhave, Renuka Sahane, Pallavi Joshi, Sai Paranjpe, Piyush Mishra, Sharmistha Roy, Aparna Sud, Rachna Rastogi, Honey Irani, Anjum Rajabali, Alankrita Srivastava, K. U. Mohanan, Shaan, Pooja Mishra, Kamlesh Pandey, Ashima Chhiber, Aruna Raje, Dr. Achala Nagar and the list is endless.
The festival has a lot in its basket to offer to the audience, through screenings, closing night, industry panels, post-screening discussions, celebrities, an award ceremony, pink carpet and much more Festival Director Avinash Pawar said,” The festival has tried to cover major parts of Mumbai reaching out to the maximum film lovers and also invited top Bollywood celebrities to conduct workshops in order to imbibe the knowledge of cinema to film makers and film lovers”.
The festival has started its delegate registration now open and it can be made via online or through our festival office. The festival offers a discount rate to delegates for a 5 day pass before 1st October 2013.
The discounted amount of the registration fee for a 5 day pass, giving access to 5days of screening films, master class, workshops and seminars, is Rs.500 and Rs.700 for students and general delegates respectively. The festival also offers a Special pass worth Rs.1200 which gets you access to the grand Opening and Closing ceremony in addition to the above mentioned events. The above are the discounted fees which are only available till the 1st October 2013. after which regular charges will be imposed.
