Chief Minister of Manipur announces 10 lac rupees for contestant Mandakini
India’s most prestigious platform for singing has begun its journey of finding the country’s next singing sensation and the Top 15 contestants of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa are all geared to prove their mettle. This weekend, viewers will witness outstanding performances by the talented contestants from all the three teams led by mentors Richa Sharma, Wajid Khan and Shekhar Ravjiani followed by the first elimination of the season.
With the competition getting tougher, contestants have been pushing their boundaries and flooring the jury, mentors and audiences alike with their soulful performances week after week.
While each aspirant is truly remarkable, one extraordinary young talent Mandakini Takhellambam, who hails from Manipur, has been winning millions of hearts with her soulful voice. An inspiration for many, Mandakini with her never-say-die has scaled unimaginable heights despite being visually impaired.
As a salute to her undying spirit, the honourable Chief Minister of Manipur has announced a Rs 10 Lakh reward for Mandakini as an acknowledgement of her brilliant singing and for making her home ground Manipur proud. Mentor Shekhar Ravjiani who was mighty impressed with
