The fever of Music Mania strikes back with a whole new array of maestros performing live. The night was dedicated to Jazz Blues and Fusion with RAF. RAF (Rakesh and Friends) is a young group of extremely talented musicians namely Rakesh Chaurasia (Flute), Gino Banks (Drums), Satyajeet Talwalkar (Tabla), Sheldon D’Silva (Bass Guitar), Sanjoy Das (Guitar) and Sangeet Haldipur (Key Board) that presented live at Music Mania’s musical soiree celebrating Medha Jalota’s birthday.
Music Mania’s Jazz Blue Fusion with was an evening that presented RAF effectively blending Indian Classical Music with Global Music creating musical sound seldom heard.
Bina Aziz looked lovely in a black Amy Billimoria’s gown , the cake cutting was a happy and emotional moment, Anup Jalota and Medha looked gorgeous together in a black and white colour co-ordinated outfits, so was Bina and Talat Aziz in all black.

The band RAF has performed at some prestigious festivals such as Jan Fest Kalaghoda arts festival, Taal Chakra in Pune and the group has also performed at the Cape Town Jazz festival which is the largest festival in Cape Town as the only Indian group representing India internationally & put up a brilliant show.
Conceptualized by Bina Aziz, Director, Bntertainment Global, she says “It was a night of all nights to remember with jamming by the maestros present as their finale (a Music Mania special) something which can only be experienced at our musical nights. New talent for the evening who has sent their entries from all over the world showcased their talent on this special platform -something the Music Mania team strongly supports, encourages and believes in.
The evening is a Celebration of life! Also being Medha Jalota’s birthday, we had to make it special for her, the jazz band the ambience of Sofitel Hotel has made the evening memorable with the Anup Jalota, Talat Aziz and Madhushree sing impromptu”
The nephew and disciple of Flute Maestro Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia, Rakesh of RAF fame has undoubtedly made his mark as one of the finest young Flute Virtuoso. His excellence lies in playing the instrument played by Krishna i.e. the bamboo flute. – a night called to drown you in their mesmerizing music with jazz and fusion along with new talents for the evening as part of the ongoing new talent hunt with digital partner Artist Aloud .
