FIRST EVER OFFICIAL HINDI REMAKE OF A FRENCH FILM
AMPLIFIED ACROSS 29 HINDI STATIONS OF 92.7 BIG FM TO REACH 7MN INDIANS
USING THE POWER OF THE DIGITAL MEDIUM TO FURTHER ENHANCE REACH
BIG Digital, the Digital arm of Reliance Broadcast Network Ltd, today announced the music of the upcoming comedy flick Bumboo, the first film that marks the official Indo- French cooperation in making a French remake. The film is a clean action humor which will appeal all age groups.
Present on the occasion were versatile singers Sunidhi Chauhan & Javed Ali, music director Santosh Singh, lyricist Shadab Akhtar along with the cast of the movie Kavin Dave and Sharat Saxena. They all seemed to be having fun off-screen as well and shared a great camaraderie.
Bumboo is a story based on the idea that life is like a game where one tends to meet numerous people with varied tastes and interests. They can not only add excitement and variety but can also create problems. Each character in the movie hampers someone’s happiness. The plot is very interesting in its creation of situational and rib tickling comedy. Bumboo is based on a original French story L’Emmerduer written by Francis Veber who has delivered other brilliant films like A Dinner Game ( Indian version : Bheja Fry ), Valet etc. The film when launched in France created history of sorts at the box office and is considered a classic in France even today.
This movie makes use of multi-media promotions across different media platforms and networks including Radio, Television, Digital and out of home.
· The launch will enjoy extensive visibility and facilitate popularity and integrated promotions across platforms.
· The music will be first heard on India’s No. 1 Radio Network 92.7 BIG FM utilizing 29 Hindi stations with a reach of 7 million to promote the songs.
