The best part of reviewing a film becomes more consuming if you go and see it without any pre conceived notions.

“BhoolBhulaiyaa2” being a franchise was even more challenging because the total cast is different and avoiding comparison would have been difficult. So now free of all entanglement and with free mind space BhoolBhulaiyaa2 turned out to be a near joyride full of drama and suspense and out and out entertainer. This is without saying that you don’t start disseminating the film and searching for logic at every juncture. You just plain sit and lap up the going ons and you will have a helluva good time.
This Pandemic seems to have worked for Anees Bazmee because he appears to be full of spooky 👻 ideas which he keeps on unspooling and keep your adrenaline flowing. To repeat a franchise is indeed a huge challenge and that too with a fresh new team… But Anees Bazmee has worked at it with full zeal as he leaves his main central protagonist Kartik Aaryan with a free hand who in return puts in one of his best performance till date and Kartik is the guy to watch out for in the film. His performance in the climax scene alone will make you want to give a standing ovation to the emerging star in the making. Now what can you say about Kiara Advani... She looks absolutely gorgeous and adorable and seems to be enjoying every bit of her character giving it all her best. She is so spontaneous that she is virtually in line and sync with kartik at every step and moment. She has evolved big time since her debut film and way to go.
Adding to all this rollercoaster ride is the commanding presence of the very gracious and talented actress Tabu giving you the chills and thrills with her antics and going about their mad crazy ghost buster bashing and unraveling a spooky Whodunit about a haunted Haveli and its tenants and whereabouts.
Adding to the mad soiree are the quintessential quirky local triumvirate Rajpal Yadav, Sanjay Mishra and Ashwini Kalsekar putting in their craziest and funniest crackerjack dollops in full swing.
Thakur Milind Gunaji as the patriarch of the family has nothing much to do along with Amar Upadhyay who puts in a silent cameo.
The love song for the season #HumNasheMeinTohNahin crooned by Arijit Singh and Tulsi Kumar sounds soulful, the lyrics are penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya and “De Taali”  composed by Pritam and Tanishk Bagchi are really catchy numbers very well shot and picturised with lovely locations to add to its richness.
Story does get stretched and repeated at quite a few places which could have been edited. Else dialogues are really spot on and very hilarious.
Camera work is just superb and heightens the efforts of the Art Director who along with the vision of the Director Anees Bazmee & with the latest technology and VFX create required effect of Horror in and around the haunted Haveli !!!!!
All in All Don’t Fear Just Chill as you are in for a fun ride with an ensemble cast of #BhoolBhulaiyaa2  A Laughter Riot For Sure !!!!!
