Rajkumar Santoshi’s BATTLE OF SARAGARHI starring Randeep Hooda is an incredible story of 21 men of the 36th sikh regiment who gave their life in devotion to their duties ; they all chose to fight valiantly till their last breath and they did so with the regimental battle cry  “Bole So Nihal… Sat Sri Akal”.
RAJKUMAR SANTOSHI’S FILM – “21, THE LAST STAND – BATTLE OF SARAGARHI” has completed 2 days of shoot and the start to finish schedule begins from February 2017.  The film will release end of this year.
Director Rajkumar Santoshi feels that Randeep Hooda is one the finest actors of our times and says, ” Randeep is a very selfless actor who merges into his character to bring the character alive and i cast him because i wanted to bring Ishwar Singh alive in my film.”
It was Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji who implanted fearlessness in the Sikhs to fight against all odds. He set himself against oppression and intolerance. He did not fight against any territory or worldy power, or against any religion or sect. He fought for the basic human right.
This film is a tribute to the undying spirit of valour, sacrifice and humanity embodied by Sache Pasha Dusve Guru Gobind Singh Ji on his 350th  birth anniversary which is Jan 5th 2017
