Batti Gul Meter Chalu is written by Siddharth-Garima

Shree Narayan Singh’s Batti Gul Meter Chalu starring Shahid Kapoor is co-produced by the father-daughter duo, Virendra, and Prerna Arora, along with T-Series. However, only the concept of the film is by Vipul K Rawal whose Rustom bagged Akshay Kumar the National Award and for Best Actor, and the story is been written by acclaimed duo Siddharth-Garima, who penned Toilet: Ek Prem Katha.

Shree said, ” The film touches upon the significance of electricity and life without it and what happens to a common man when he is faced with humungous bills. Only the concept was conceptualized by Vipul, the whole story and dialogue of the film is written by Siddharth-Garima.
