Balaji Motion Pictures announces its slate for 2013

Balaji Motion Pictures Ltd. (BMPL), the films division of Balaji Telefilms, has announced its slate of 6 films for the upcoming year. The line-up boasts of impressive projects headlining 2013, including co-productions with illustrious filmmakers like Vishal Bhardwaj, Anurag Kashyap and Sanjay Gupta, alongside sequels to Balaji’s own successful properties such as Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai and Ragini MMS.

The strong line-up of films is indicative of the company’s exponential growth in the films’ space, further evidenced by an investment of approximately Rs.150 crores into productions of varying budgets on a rolling basis and in different tranches. Balaji Telefilms, having proven its success on the small screen, is building on its string of successes in the movies space, led by hits like Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai, Love Sex Aur Dhokha, Ragini MMS,The Dirty Picture and Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum, to name a few.
