Author Preeti Shenoy Unveils The Cover Of Her New Book ‘A Hundred Little Flames’ At Birmingham Literary Festival 2017
Birmingham UK : India’s top-selling woman author, Preeti Shenoy unveiled the cover of her highly anticipated book, A Hundred Little Flames, on 7th October, 2017 at the Birmingham Literary Festival 2017 in United Kingdom, today.
Preeti was part of a session titled Stories crossing borders: An afternoon with Preeti Shenoy” produced by Desi Blitz at Studio Theatre, Library of Birmingham, where she unveiled the book cover for the very first time and discussed her exciting journey as an author.
Weaving a humble yet thought-provoking narrative, A Hundred Little Flames sheds light on familial relationships and brings a vivid descriptive voice and engaging characters. The protagonist of her reciting tale is a grandfather, who grapples with modern day lifestyle and evolving technology. Illustrating a quaint and rustic love, the book cover depicts a grandfather and grandson sitting on garden bench perfectly capturing the unconditional love that people share with their grandparents.
Commenting on the cover launch for the book, Preeti said, “The story of ‘A Hundred Little Flames’ goes beyond the bond of a grandfather (or grandmother) with their grandchildren. It explores a modern day relationship, and examines it through the lens of core values and commitment. Since this book couldn’t be slotted into the genre of typical commercial fiction, we wanted the cover to reflect that as well.”
A Hundred Little Flames will be officially published by Westland Publications Ltd. (an Amazon company) in November 2017.
