Angrezi Medium – Film Review – Performance Loaded Fun Ride !!!!!

“Angrezi Medium” takes off on a very promising note making you wonder that there could be any such relationship where the concerned parent is both father and mother to an only daughter who can go to any crazy length to fulfill her dreams. And when the main protagonist are Irrfan Khan who is surfacing after a tough and long battle with his Health issues playing Ever doting and possessive father and daughter is portrayed by Radhika Madan such a bundle of Natural Talent and Deepak Dobriyal who is the uncle and the Flavour of the season you may say that you start getting into groove to relish the ongoings.

But some how you get driven on a different path by the director Homi Adajania who seems to be following the realistic true to life pattern of the characters in the situation giving in to the whims and fancies of a possessed and insanely loving father who wants to leave no stone unturned to get her darling daughters wish fulfilled.

There are too many twists and turns and dramatic conflicts created bereft of all the logics and sensibilities to hold the narrative but to no avail !

The highlight and the most consuming and engaging segment of the film  is the sensitive portrayal of the father and daughter interactions and relationship which is so endearing and lovely ❣️and actually so beautifully handled by the director Homi Adajania that you virtually start living the characters with them.

Kareena Kapoor Khan for what ever time she is on screen lives her Gorgeous Imprint and Dimple Kapadia makes her presence felt.

Being shot partly in Udaipur India and London UK the film showcases the story of an ordinary man a father and his trials and tribulations however insane, crazy and maddening they may be but how he tries his maximum Best to meet up with his darling daughters aspirations is the essence of the film 

The Title Angrezi Medium Shows the divide that how the language understanding can create barriers and can put you into unthought of and dangerously bizarre situations.

Irrfan Khan a super talented actor par excellence is in his character down to a perfect T

Deepak Dobriyal puts in his one of the most engaging and consuming performance and lives upto all the stupid and crazy antics he is suppose to be displaying.

Kiku Sharda has nothing much to do but stays put in what ever is expected of him.

But finally the real surprise element is Radhika Madan A Gem of a Talent My goodness you just can’t take the eyes  of her beautiful, delicate and charmingly innocent  persona and the way she goes about effortlessly enacting with veterans like Irrfan Khan and Deepak Dobriyal is worth it’s salt and deserves the accolades ? She is indeed the discovery of the season for sure!!!!!
