An ode of thanks to the maestros! REHMATEIN with the launch of the Jagjit Singh’s brother Kartar Singh

A fund raising musical soiree, REHMATEIN ,hosted by Sangeetam Charitable Trust headed by Shri Saurabh Daftary & Padmashri Hariharanji, a special initiative, to Felicitate & extend Financial Support to the yesteryear’s maestros.

Saurav Daftary’s initiative is worth accolades  in  bringing the fraternity close  for the well being of the maestros. 

The musical evening made up for an eventful day with the launch of legendary Jagjit Singh’s younger brother Shri Kartaar Singh & launch of acclaimed anchor & RJ also heading E- Bizz Entertainment India Pvt. Ltd; Smita Parikh’s book of poetry ‘Main Panth Niharu’.

 

Joining in the noble initiative was Shri Javed Akhtar Sahab who made his presence felt as the chief guest of honor,

also other eminent singers of our music fraternity supported the cause; Sonu Nigam,

Talat Aziz , Bina Aziz & Javed Ali,

sumeet Tappoo,Jaspinder Narula,

Suresh Wadkar,Richa Sharma,kavita seth ,& Wajid ali 

 

REHMATEIN saw a felicitation of veteran ghazal legend Mr. Rajendra Mehta & Mr. Khayyam Sahab for their outstanding contribution to the music industry with price money of Rs. 2,01,000/- each as a token of appreciation,& also to give sponsorship’s to deserving kids to get trained under the maestros. 

The highlight of the evening was the performance by Kartaar singh which made all present emotional for the strongest resemblance with his voice ,the brother got emotional. 

Bina Aziz & Jaspinder Narula were seen together. The Ghazal maestros Anup Jalota, Talat Aziz along with Hariharan performed live on the platform paying tribute to the late Ghazal legend singing famous Ghazals by Jagjit Singh.

 

This Event is conceptualized & managed by E- Bizz Entertainment India Pvt. Ltd headed by Saurabh Daftary & Smita Parikh who is launched Karttar Singh, younger brother of Shri Jagjit Singh at the fund raiser.

 

A woman of many faces, Smita Parikh is an RJ, an actor & a singer & now a rising poet launched her book of poetry named Main Panth Niharu at the musical soiree.
