Mandeep Kumar who made his Bollywood directorial debut with the romantic-comedy ,has much reason to celebrate given that the film’s collections have done better than projects of his other debutant counterparts in the recent past like Band Baaja Baraat (4.75 cr weekend), Do Dooni Chaar (2 crore nett weekend), Sahib Biwi Aur Gangster (3.75 crore nett) and Tere Mere Phere to name a few.

An engineering graduate from Chandigarh,Mandeep Kumar’s association with Kumar Taurani of Tips, started with his maiden venture ,Punjabi film “Jihne Mera Dil Luteya” that went on to become the biggest blockbuster in the history of Punjabi cinema in domestic as well as overseas market.
