One of the most talked about recent releases in Bollywood recently was the title track of the movie Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Instead of releasing a conventional trailer, the makers decided to give fans a glimpse of the movie by launching the title track. This turned out to be a deft strategic move because it was an instant hit with the fans!

Sung by Arijit Singh and set to tune by Pritam, the song is a soulful ballad that had audiences hooked on from the beginning. The lyrics of the song convey the intense passion and an all-consuming love between the lead characters and is sensitively penned by bites lyricist Amitabh Bhattacharya. It’s become very popular especially with the youth and is breaking audio records all over.

Songs like this one have been sorely missed from Bollywood movies in recent years and it’s good to see that Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is making sure that the trend changes. After the title track, the makers will now release another track titled Bulleya, which is a Sufi love song that will definitely bring back the trend of sensitive meaningful lyrics and songs in Bollywood which will stay the course of time – a far cry from the quick, easy-come-easy-go numbers with meaningless lyrics. Bulleya is touted to be a chartbuster number that will celebrate love in all its forms this Diwali.

Bulleya is set to launch on the 16th of September.

Produced by Fox Star Studios and Dharma Productions, Directed by Karan Johar, starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma and Fawad Khan Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is slated to release on October 28th, 2016.
