Action Abraham creates hysteria

Having been part of 2 100 crore films ,John Abraham with the stupendous success of Balaji’s gangster entertainer Shootout at Wadala, looks well on his way to being amongst the most celebrated actors this year ,with an ever-increasing fan base ,proof of which is the hysteria the actor created as he visited the popular G7 multiplex in the suburbs.

Apart from John Abraham being mobbed right at the entrance of the multiplex ,as he came to catch reactions of his recent release, audiences from adjacent shows too left the screens half way to catch a glimpse of him, to a point where the situation got out of control – Despite 7 bodyguards accompanying John, additional security had to be called for to handle the frenzy.

Says a source, “As news of John’s arrival at the theater chain spread , public from all over entered in huge numbers……People from the theaters left their films mid-way to catch a glimpse of him…..With a span of few minutes the crowd got uncontrollable and John was made to wait in the theatre’s basement office for an hour or so until the crowd dispersed”.

Confirming the news says Tanuj Garg,CEO,Balaji Motion Pictures , “John’s presence unleashed mass hysteria at Gaiety (theatre at G7 Multiplex).”

Starring John Abraham in the lead, Balaji’s Shootout at Wadala that saw its first weekend domestic total of Rs 33.10 crores nett released 3rd May 2013.
