Abhishek Bachchan sweeps Comedy Awards this season.
The actor who struck a chord with audiences across the country for his dual- role in the comedy, is on a roll this Award season already bagging 2 prestigious honors.
Blockbuster Bachchan bagged the title of ‘Best Actor in a Comic Role’ for Bol Bachchan,at the Big Star Entertainment Awards.
Writing on Twitter, he said: “Just won Best Actor- Comedy for Bol Bachchan at the Big Star entertainment awards!!!! :-))))))Won because of the most awesome team that we had on the film. Adding another feather to his hat,Abhishek then went on to bag the Comic Award at the Zee Cine Awards .Keeping in tradition with their position as the ‘World’s Biggest Viewers’ Choice Awards’, Zee launched voting on the phone through IVR (free call voting) and the website,nearly touching a million.
The actor apart from winning the award also played host alongside good friend and co-actor Riteish Deshmukh – On the occasion he said “This year the Awards are returning to Mumbai and our effort will be to make the show entertaining for audiences worldwide.”
