Abhinay Deo shoots at one of the greatest cricket fields in the world for his socio-sports film

Filmmaker Abhinay Deo who recently directed the Irrfan Khan starrer ‘Blackmail’ is set to return with his forthcoming socio sports film titled ‘Doosra’. The film deals with cricket playing a crucial element in the film, for which the filmmaker shot at the Lords cricket stadium. Known as the ‘mecca’ of cricket, the Lords is one of the greatest cricket fields in the world.

The film which is based on the game of cricket in India and its role in changing the mental psyche of our nation focusses on the cultural change in the country through sports, business, arts, and politics.

Abhinay who has been working on the film for quite some time is also meeting former and current cricketing greats for the same.

The film is currently under pre-production and will be released soon later next year.
