ABC Television Studios Signs Exclusive Talent Development Deal with Priyanka Chopra !

Multi-award winning actress and international recording artist, Priyanka Chopra, has signed a one-year talent development deal with ABC Television Studios.If all goes as planned , ABC will develop a starring vehicle for Chopra, or cast the actress in an existing project, targeted for fall 2015.

ABC’s Executive Vice President of Casting, Keli Lee, who also created ABC’s Casting Talent Showcase, spearheaded the deal and traveled to Mumbai to personally sign Chopra.

Joining the likes of Kerry Washington, Scandal; Sofia Vergara, Modern Family and Sandra Oh, Grey’s Anatomy ,Priyanka Chopra is eyed as the next in line for one of the network’s hailed strong female roles.

Says Priyanka Chopra, ” “I am honoured and excited to have inked this deal with ABC. The fact that the network will be developing customised TV content, specifically with me in mind, is amazing. I’ve been a long-time fan of ABC shows, and an admirer of how the network has changed the landscape of TV through the diversity of their lead characters. To follow in the footsteps of game-changers like Sofia Vergara, Kerry Washington and Eva Longoria is a matter of pride for me. I am looking forward to this endeavour.”
