Aamir Khan introduces his champion daughters in the new poster of Dangal.
Aamir Khan along with the makers of Dangal, Producer Siddharth Roy Kapur and Director Nitesh Tiwari unveiled the poster of Dangal.
The poster image features Aamir as older Mahaveer Singh Phogat along with 4 young girls, who will be seen playing his onscreen daughters in the film.
It exhibits the crux of the film which is a father-daughter story, the poster reads the words ‘म्हारी छोरियाँ छोरों से कम हैं के?’ further highlighting the sentiment the film is to project.
The event witnessed the actor sharing instances from the pre production and filming stages of the film. Aamir also expressed that he was in sheer awe of his onscreen daughters for their talent and sheer hardwork.
Director Nitesh Tiwari shared that Aamir was the instinctive first choice for the film and that he is a free hand actor to work with. Producer Siddharth Roy Kapur pointed out that Dangal is UTV Motion Pictures 9th association with Aamir Khan on a film.
Aamir giving further insights on the film stated that Dangal is not just a father-daughter story but a story about beating all odds with conviction, it is a story that will leave one inspired.
Dangal is a film based on the life of Haryana-based wrestler Mahaveer Singh Phogat and the journey of his daughters Geeta and Babita Phogat.
Disney presents, Aamir Khan Productions ‘Dangal’ produced by Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao & Siddharth Roy Kapur and directed by Nitesh Tiwari is slated to release on 23rd December, 2016.
