After a fantastic Week 1 of 35.41 cr, and a massive 74% growth on its second Saturday over Friday, the film grew another impressive 27.2% yesterday, clocking 4.53 cr, taking its till date India Box office tally to 45.55 cr.
What is incredible is that the film’s Second Sunday collection of 4.53 cr is almost the same (94%) as its openingFriday!!
From the feedback received from across markets, Parmanu- The Story of Pokhran looks all set for a long haul in the days to come.
Opening to critical acclaim Parmanu, soon had an extremely strong word of mouth, drawing huge crowds across markets. It has maintained a steady audience pull resulting in a strong Box office performance till date with the audience love and adulation taking it to all-new heights despite all odds- a truncated promotional campaign, the holy month of Ramzaan, IPL semis on opening Friday and & finals on Sunday.

Week 1- 35.41 Cr
Day 1, Friday: 4.82 crores: Despite a truncated promotional campaign and an IPL semi-final on its Release Day, the film got off to a great start collecting 4.82 crores on its opening day (higher than some of the other recent releases).
Day 2, Saturday: 7.64 crores : In a surge rarely seen at the Box Office, it grew nearly 60% on Day 2 to clock 7.64 crores .
Day 3, Sunday: 8.32 crores: Despite IPL Final on Sunday 27th May, the film collected 8.32 crores; turning profitable for the producers within 3 days of its release.
Day 4, Monday: 4.10 crores: a remarkable 85% of its Opening Friday collections and a rare feat at the Box office; the audience footfalls at the cinemas remained the same as its Opening Day; (the marginally lower collection than Friday is just a result of lower ticket prices on Monday).
Day 5, Tuesday: 3.81 crores: Tuesday is usually a ‘special promotion day’ at many multiplex chains with discounts on tickets, 1+1 offers, etc.; so the collection value does drop. However, the film has maintained a steady pull for the audience and the collections are just a little short of its Monday Box Office number (4.1cr).
Day 6, Wednesday: 3.48 crores: After a FANTASTIC Week 1 of 35.41 cr, and an understandable drop on second Friday due to many new releases, Parmanu- The Story of Pokhran, the ode to India’s Unsung Heroes is back on course as it continues its steady Box journey clocking3.5 cr on Saturday
Day 7, Thursday: 3.24 crores: Parmanu- The Story of Pokhran, the ode to India’s Unsung Heroes continued its hold at the Box Office clocking 3.24 cr on Thursday, taking its Week 1 tally to 35.41cr.
Day 8, Friday: 2.05 crores: Inspite of many new releases yesterday, Parmanu- The Story of Pokhran, the ode to India’s Unsung Heroes continued its steady Box journey clocking 2.05 cr on Friday.
Day 9, Saturday: 3.56 crores: After a fantastic Week 1 of 35.41 cr, Parmanu- The Story of Pokhran, the ode to India’s Unsung Heroes remains U-N-S-T-O-P-P-A-B-L-E at the Box Office. It clocked 3.56 cr yesterday witnessing a HUGE 74% jump over its 2nd Friday number (2.05cr)!
