Nary who is playing a parallel lead opposite Saif Ali Khan is one of the most talked about characters in Kaalakaandi had her fangirl moment. Nary Singh shares screen space withSaif and plays an important role in his part of the story. Nary was absolutely awestruck and extremely nervous while enacting her scenes with him. When director Akshat Verma highlighted this to Saif, he took the time to help her ease out and make her comfortable “Saif is a genius. Working with him is like going to a gurukul. The film is a dark comedy about life, death and karma. It is a journey of Saif Ali Khan’scharacter who lively and daring & wants to enjoy his life after he is informed that he is suffering from stomach cancer. As he embarks on the most thrilling journey of his life, the trailer unfolds the mysterious stories of other characters essayed by Deepak Dobriyal, Vijay Raaz, Akshay Oberoi, Shobita Dhulipala and Kunaal Roy Kapur.
Kaalakaandi is written and directed by Akshat Verma, who is best known for writing Delhi Belly. The film, produced by Cinestaan Film Company, Flying Unicorn Entertainment and Immoral Police, is slated to hit the screen on January 12, 2018. The film stars Saif Ali Khan, Vijay Raaz, Deepak Dobriyal, Sobhita Dhulipala, Kunaal Roy Kapur, Isha Talwar, Shenaz Treasurywala and Akshay Oberoi.
