Mumbai, 4 August 2012: Post a spectacular show of Wendell Rodricks’ TIMELESS for Himalayan collection at the Lakme Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2012, the ace designer hosted a fashionable success party at Bandra’s favourite Italian restaurant, Café Mangii.
Friends and well-wishers from the fashion fraternity joined to raise a toast to the awe-inspiring fashion show put together by Wendell earlier in the evening.
Keeping the fashion quotient at an all time high, the glamorous evening witnessed some well-known celebrities like Arshad Warsi, Maria Goretti, Simone Singh and Fahad Samar, Chetan Bhagat and Tisca Chopra among many others.
The restaurant was buzzing with energy as models, designers, celebrities, fashionistas enjoyed their conversations amidst the delectable flavors of Café Mangii. The celebratory atmosphere and the sinful aromas of Italian delicacies were savored by one and all.
The star attraction for the evening were the much-talked about hand-crafted pizzas cooked to perfection with delicate aromas of the wood-fired oven. Guests enjoyed these in wonderfully exotic toppings like Cajun chicken, Flamed King Prawns, Smoked Salmon, Parma Ham.
The veggies ate their hearts out with the classic Margarita, Cappricciosa, Meditarranean and Freshly Sautéed Mushrooms to name just a few. The hand-crafted Napolitana wood-fired oven pizzas enjoy pride of place with its smoky flavors lending a warm glow to the trendy interiors.
