MAMI Year Round Programme presents Do You Speak Cinema?
In 2015, the Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival with Star introduced a delightful section: Half Ticket. This section caters specially to young audiences between the ages of 5-17years.
An instant success, Half Ticket took another leap in 2016 when it opened up for public screenings. With this, the entire family of a MAMI delegate could partake in a cinematic experience.
This year we are taking Half Ticket a step further by extending our engagement with young audiences Year Round. The preamble to the fabulous public screenings that await children and young adults at the Jio MAMI Mumbai Film Festival with Star (12th October to 18th October) is our very first cinema workshop for children!
In association with AVID Learning and Film Heritage Foundation, this workshop is specifically designed to introduce young audiences between the ages of 7 to 10, to the magic and language of cinema.
