The film market of JIFF ‘THE MERCHANT’  is now counted in some of the greatest festivals of Asia

Jaipur, The intention behind hosting the Jaipur International Film Festival is not only to show some fine movies from around the world to entertain the viewers but also it is intended to provide a world class market for the producers. The film market of jiff ‘THE MERCHANT’  is now counted in some of the greatest festivals of Asia. The local directors are getting a chance to show their movies in JIFF where they get opportunity to present their film in front of well re-knowned directors from around the globe. In JIFF-2013, the organizers have focused on film market too.

To make the film market more effective, some seminars and workshops have been organized discretely in THE MERCHANT. These seminars are going to be organized in ‘CHAMBER BHAVAN’. Also the topics selected in seminars are selected by keeping in mind something about the new directors.     On 31st January, senior journalist B.B NAGPA and SAMEER MODI will interact on the topic “Digital Film Distribution” . Also a seminar will held on ‘filmmakers and screen writers networking’ on same day in which ‘Rakesh Adaniya’ and Bijoya Jena will take part.  On 1st February, there’ll be discussion about the shooting locations and facilities around Jaipur and Rajasthan.

An important short session will be there on “documentary and short films” on February 2. On same day, a discussion will take place on the topic “the situation of film screening in Rajsthan” and it’ll be attended by film analyst KOMAL NHATA, film distributor SAJAY CHATAR and SANTOSH JAIN.
