Creating a Roadmap towards a USD 100 bn M & E Industry

Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) has been focusing on the Indian Media & Entertainment (M&E) Industry as a major area for enhancing the growth momentum of one of the fastest growing sectors globally. The CII Big Picture Summit aims to take a closer look at the media from the perspective of every major stakeholder in the country. From Strengthening Indian Democracy to bringing social change and Expanding Markets to New Media, the Summit will deliberate and review the role of Media across our national ethos.
Ms Ambika Soni, Hon’ble Minister of Information and Broadcasting will inaugurate the Summit at 10.00 a.m. on 29 October 2012 at Hotel Leela, Chanakya Puri, New Delhi.
Few focus areas for deliberation at the Summit include:The Fourth Estate; Media & Entertainment: Catalyst for social change; Managing Media & Entertainment Business in the Digital Era; Striving to make Indian business model competitive; The Game changers- Taking the Industry to USD 100 bn by 2020; A century in retrospect: 100 years of cinema; Policy conundrum and Sports and Entertainment.
