As the world approaches International Women’s Day this 8th March, 92.7 BIG FM, India’s No. 1 FM Network, celebrates the spirit of womanhood with a bouquet of special offerings. The station brings to the spotlight, women achievers from different walks of life through ‘Ladies First’ – a show bringing forth men from the same field / profession to talk about and interview these incredible women. While the station’s RJs in Mumbai and Delhi visit corporate offices and felicitate women head honchos, the station will also highlight moments and movies from Indian Cinema saluting the spirit of womanhood. Catch all the special offerings between 3rd to 8th March only on 92.7 BIG FM!
Reaching out to a larger audience, 92.7 BIG FM runs ‘Ladies First’ across 45 stations. While the episodes feature famous people like lyricist Irshad Kamil interviewing Anvita Dutt, and boxer Vijender Singh interviewing fellow sportswomen like Mary Kom, each station identifies and highlights local women heroes through the week. In addition to featuring women from business / corporate, auto-drivers, pilots etc. each station will also encourage listeners to nominate and share success stories of incredible women from their neighborhood. From the total registrations received, BIG FM RJs will select the best narrative and showcase them on air. 92.7 BIG FM also pays tribute to 100 glorious years of Indian Cinema by highlighting women in lead roles through film capsules. Some of the awe-inspiring films that will be featured include Mother India, Madhumati, Seeta aur Geeta, Mrityudand, Damini, Lajja, Rudali among others.
As part of its on-ground promotions, 92.7 BIG FM will carry out RWA activations across the metros. BIG FM RJs will identify and felicitate women achievers and share their success stories with listeners. Others nominated will also get an opportunity to give a testimonial of their achievements.
