92.7 BIG FM PARTNERS WITH AKANKSHA FOUNDATION TO CELEBRATE TEACHERS DAY
APPEALS TO LISTENERS TO TAKE ON THE RESPONSIBILITY OF VOLUNTEERING TO TEACH AND SPREAD THE LIGHT OF EDUCATION

Mumbai, 92.7 BIG FM, India’s No. 1 FM radio network and the Golden Mikes Broadcaster of the Year, in association with the Akanksha Foundation a non-profit organization with a mission to impact the lives of children from low-income communities, enabling them to maximize their potential and transform their lives through education celebrated Teachers Day at the studios in a very unique fashion.As the rest of India celebrated Teachers Day the children from Akanksha Foundation were at the studios to appeal to the listeners to take on the responsibility of becoming their teachers and experience the joy of spreading the light of education in others lives.
As the RJs bonded with the kids and got them to be comfortable, the kids opened their hearts out and shared their simple problems. While one wanted help in Math, being terrible at tables the other wanted to get better at spoken English in order to become a ‘Badaa Sahab’ tomorrow. It was indeed touching to see the fire in their eyes and the desire to achieve big goals despite the challenges they faced. All they needed was just a little help from people who can spare time. The RJs spent an enjoyable afternoon with the kids and volunteered to spare time for the kids from Akanksha Foundation.
They also appealed to the listeners of 92.7 BIG FM to make the effort to help the children from Akanksha.
