Kolkata,  Celebrating its passion for retro music, 92.7 BIG FM Kolkata today announced its association with Rabindra Bharati University as its exclusive radio partner in celebrating ‘Kabi Pranam’ at Jorasanko Thakurbari. Organized with students from the Rabindra Bharati University, the live music concert offers 92.7 BIG FM Kolkata’s listeners with a rare amalgamation of timeless creations to pay tribute to the eminent stalwart of India, the great Kavi Gurudeb Rabindranath Tagore. 92.7 BIG FM Kolkata’s association with ‘Kabi Pranam’ presents listeners with a unique opportunity to celebrate the cherished and soul-stirring music composed by the great poet and singer on 9th May, 2013 through a special feature called ‘Kobipokko’.

Kick-starting ‘Kabi Pranam’ with an early morning creation and display of a splendid floral ‘Alpona’, 92.7 BIG FM Kolkata celebrated the great poet’s birthday with students of the Rabindra Bharati University and listeners. The celebration will be followed by a series of performances that include evergreen songs of Gurudeb Rabindranath Tagore. Bringing the celebration to the listeners, 92.7 BIG FM Kolkata will broadcast live shows from the venue on its daily programs, ‘Khas Adda’ by RJ Koushik and ‘Chirodiner Sur’ by RJ Pamela. To add to the excitement of celebrating the birthday of India’s most celebrated poet, ‘Kabi Pranam’ will also be attended by renowned artists from the music industry who will share their experiences at the concert.
