NATIONAL AWARENESS CAMPAIGN 92.7 BIG FM’S INITIATIVE TO BRING ABOUT MUCH NEEDED SOCIAL CHANGE

92.7 BIG FM, India’s largest radio network announced the launch of its highly engaging national awareness campaign to celebrate the country’s 67th Independence Day. Titled ‘BIG Badlaw Ki Ek Chhoti Pahal’, the campaign aims to instill fresh thoughts for social change among Indian citizens. Being a powerful medium of communication, 92.7 BIG FM, with its robust network of 45 stations, will extensively utilize its platform to encourage citizens to spearhead change. The campaign will kick off on 7th August and the cause to be championed will be chosen on 15th and 16th August 2013. The campaign will shed light on a range of distressing matters including crimes against women and children, human trafficking and more.

As a part of the ‘BIG Badlaw Ki Ek Chhoti Pahal’ campaign, 92.7 BIG FM will invite listeners across its stations to draw attention to and nominate grave social issues that deserve national attention. Once nominations are received, each station will choose a cause that they will champion and address through numerous activities throughout the year. Multiple high-decibel on-air and on-ground activities will also be run alongside. ‘BIG Badlaw Ki Ek Chhoti Pahal’ will not only choose issues countered by the common man but also focus on generating awareness about it to ensure appropriate resolution.
