MONTH LONG CAMPAIGN ACROSS 21 CITIES REACHES ITS PEAK WHILE CREATING AWARENESS ABOUT THE HAZARDS OF UNSAFE DRIVING

92.7 BIG FM, India’s No. 1 FM radio station and Total Oil India Pvt. Ltd.’s unique month-long campaign ‘Total Quartz Safety Month’ came to a close today when it culminated into the Total Quartz Safety Run. The campaign, which was spread across 21 cities promoted a change in the mindset of people on abiding with road safety rules. The campaign was hugely successful as it garnered tremendous support from the general public and also witnessed participation from local residents including Poonam Apt at Worli and Samruddhi Co-Op Housing Society at Dadar.

The Total Quartz Safety Run, extended from Telephonic Exchange to MMRDA Ground, PN Park, a distance of around 3.5 KM was flagged off by Sophie Choudhary, Anjali Patil, Rajpal Yadhav, Hrishita Bhatt, Sanjay Mishra, Sonu Kakkar, Abhash, Swanand Kirkire, Captain RR Ayyar, Director NCC and received extensive support from Humanitarian Welfare & Research Foundation, IIT Bombay, Bandra Cycling club, NCC, Sports Authority of India, Bhavans College and Rotaract club.

 

The Total Quartz Safety Month campaign, has touched upon multiple aspects relating to road safety including safe driving tips, highlighting the dangers of drunken driving and talking on the phone while driving. The campaign witnessed support from traffic authorities, legal experts, doctors, police and victims of accidents from drunken driving from across the country.  .

Speaking about the Total Quartz Safety Run, a 92.7 BIG FM spokesperson said, “Over the course of the past month, 92.7 BIG FM listeners from across the country have pledged solidarity to the cause of road safety. We are really proud of the results we have achieved thus far, and hope that this effort we have undertaken with Total Oil will continue to garner support from Indians across the country.”
